Adan Eftekhari
Founding Director & Lead Research Mentor
Adan is a Human Biology and Government student at Harvard University, where he conducts research in the Department of Stem Cell and Regenerative Biology. His research spans computational biology, public health, and biomedical informatics, with publications in ACM BCB, the American Journal of Public Health, and arXiv. He has presented at the 16th ACM Conference on Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, and Health Informatics. Prior to Harvard, Adan conducted extensive exosome-based gene therapy research for mRNA delivery and co-founded a company developing machine learning-based personalized medical recommendations. He is a 2024 Coca-Cola Scholar, Yale Bassett Award recipient, and United Nations General Assembly delegate who has worked alongside Department of Homeland Security officials and Nobel Peace Laureate Kailash Satyarthi.

Samay Mirpuri
Research Mentor
Samay is an Economics and Government concentrator at Harvard University, where he explores the intersection of economic policy, public governance, and quantitative analysis. At Harvard, he engages with faculty-led research initiatives in political economy and policy evaluation. Samay brings a strong foundation in econometric methods and policy research design, with particular interests in applied microeconomics and government intervention analysis. Prior to Harvard, he distinguished himself as a varsity track athlete and academic leader, earning multiple all-conference and all-region honors while serving as team captain.
Jonathan Yang
Research Mentor
Jonathan is pursuing a joint concentration in Economics and Applied Mathematics at Harvard University, where he combines rigorous quantitative training with economic theory. He is an active member of Harvard's Tech for Social Good (T4SG), Harvard Finance Analysts Club, and Harvard Ventures, applying his technical skills to real-world impact. Jonathan has experience leading educational initiatives, having taught physics to middle school students and organized STEM camps reaching over 200 students nationwide. His research interests span computational economics, financial modeling, and the application of mathematical methods to policy questions. He is a recipient of the IHSAA Mental Attitude Award for excellence in scholarship, leadership, and athletic achievement.
